Realtor Gives Testimonial

This is from Tim Knobloch, a realtor, commenting on a job we did yesterday:

"I had a rental property that had to have some junk removed within 24 hours.  After contacting 1-800-Junk-Refund, the items were removed within the 24 hours.  They were very responsive to a REALTOR’s needs."

Thanks, Tim!  We look forward to helping you again in the future!

Joe Gets $282 Refund When We Clean Out His Mother's Apartment!

Meet Joe K. In January he had us clean out his mother's apartment in Chevy Chase. He paid us $1,100. Today he got $282 back and we still have more of his mom's stuff to sell! He also prefers Chunky Monkey (Ben & Jerry's). So far his junk removal job has only cost Joe $818. Other companies would have charged about $1,700 or more (and given nothing back!)

IF YOUR JUNK REMOVAL COMPANY ISN'T GIVING YOU MONEY BACK BY SELLING YOUR GOOD STUFF, YOU'RE STILL USING PAY PHONES TO COMMUNICATE WITH PEOPLE...

Joe gets $282 refund after we clean out his mother's apartment.  Chunky Monkey B&J Ice Cream too!

Woman Gets Cash Back from 1-800-Junk-Refund Within 24 Hours!

Meet Chae.
  1. On Wednesday, March 12th, at 5 pm, we hauled away her living and dining room furniture.  Lots of nice, vintage furniture.  Very clean.
  2. While we were putting it in the truck, I took photos of it and texted them to one of our regular store customers.
  3. He met us at the store at 7:30 that night to look at the furniture as we took it off the truck.
  4. The next morning he came in and bought $375 of the furniture.
  5. At 2 pm that day, this picture of Chae was taken at our store.  I'm not sure if she's more excited about the $131 cash she got back in less than 24 hours or the Peanut Butter Cup Ben & Jerry's ice cream she got.
  6. This all happened in less than 24 hours.
  7. IF YOUR JUNK REMOVAL COMPANY ISN'T GIVING YOU MONEY BACK FROM YOUR GOOD JUNK, YOU'RE STILL USING A TYPEWRITER TO COMPOSE A LETTER...

Chae gets $131 refund in less than 24 hours!  Ice cream too!

Another Refund! Congrats to Joel A. of Reston, VA! Got $470.75 Refund!

Congratulations to Joel A. of Reston, VA! A few months ago he paid us $671 to haul away his stuff. We sold $1,345 of it. Today we are sending him a check for 35% of the sales price, which is $470.75. He is also getting a Goodwill receipt which will probably be valued at around $500 (at least). Joel's total out-of-pocket cost for the job is $201. Other junk removal companies would have charged $800 (at least) to do this job, and given him no money back.  When you factor in the value of the Goodwill receipt, Joel MADE MONEY plus got his junk hauled away.  Holy cow...

IF YOUR JUNK REMOVAL COMPANY ISN'T GIVING YOU MONEY BACK, YOU'RE STILL WATCHING A BLACK AND WHITE TV...

Bob Goes Back to his World War II Roots

Meet our friend, Bob, who came into our store a while ago and bought this world globe for just a couple of dollars. He bought it because it showed some places, tiny islands, in the Pacific where he served in World War II. It's such a great feeling to see people reconnect with their past just by going into a junk store.

Thank you Bob for your service and enjoy the globe!

Wilbur Gives a Concert!

Check out Wilbur, who drove up to our store last Saturday just as we were closing. We pulled off the truck a basic electric guitar that caught his eye immediately. It had a built-in speaker that wasn't working, even though the light came on. He played with it for a minute, then the thing started to work. He bought it for $10, then went outside and gave his own concert in the parking lot.

Check out our new store like Wilbur did at 15958 Shady Grove Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20877. We are open from 10-6, Monday thru Saturday. You'll find great items for sale that other people had us haul away! See you soon!

Client Pays $300 for Hauling, Gets $336 Back!

Rita, a client of ours in Hyattsville, Maryland, recently had us haul away a load of stuff for her, including 3 old amplifiers her father, a great musician, had used to play the electric guitar. Those amplifiers sold for over $1,000. When you subtract out the eBay fees and the I-sold It on eBay store fees, there's $671 left over. Rita gets half of that, so she earns $336! So how much did her hauling job cost her?

Client Gets Paid $400 to Have His Golf Cart Hauled Away!

Sid, a client from Potomac, Maryland, had his golf cart hauled away today. It had two flat tires and had been sitting for years, just taking up space on his porch.

He paid nothing for the removal of the cart. Instead, he GOT PAID $400! 1-800-JUNK-REFUND sold his Yamaha electric golf cart on Craig's List for $750. The buyer came in from West Virginia with his trailer. We loaded it on. The buyer paid 1-800-JUNK-REFUND $750 cash, and we gave Sid $400 of it (clients normally get 50% of the sales proceeds for their junk; in this case, we like Sid, so we gave him a little bit extra...)

So that's the way you get your junk removed these days: you do none of the work and you get paid for it! And in Sid's case, he didn't even have to pay to have the cart hauled off! No junk removal truck, no fees!

Client Makes $3,500 on Junk Removal Job!

One of our clients, Cynthia, downsized from a large home. She asked us to haul away a couch, a couple of lamps, and some odds and ends. She also asked us to take away the speakers from her home theater system, which we did. She paid us $375 to do the job. We sold the speakers for $7,000 on eBay. She got half of that back ($3,500). So she paid us $375 and we paid her $3,500.

So how much did her hauling job cost her? Stay tuned for more "trash to cash" stories as we continue to make people money off their junk!

Client Makes $931 on Junk Removal Job!

Our client, Bob H. of Arlington, Virginia, had us haul away some stuff from his house as he was downsizing. His wife had died a few years earlier. He told us she had collected dolls for about 50 years from around the world and he thought they were upstairs in a box in the attic. We checked it out.

We found the box. We sold one of the dolls, shown below, for $422 on eBay to a gentleman in Austria! It was a music box doll, made in France in the late 1800's.

Bob paid us $550 to haul away one large truckload of stuff from his house. We sold over $2,000 worth of stuff out of the truck. Bob got 50% of the sales proceeds back, which after taking out eBay's fees came to $931!

So how much did Bob's junk removal job cost?

Don't just pay for junk removal, GET PAID! Best of all, we do all the work! For the full story, visit 1800junkrefund.com. Stay tuned for more stories!
